Spam messages are down

It seems that the spirit of the season of goodwill is also bestowed on us by spammers too. I’ve seen a noticeable fall off in the amount of spam my blog gets over the last 36 hours or so. The same is true when I look in the spam folders of my gmail and Yahoo accounts. I wonder how much faster the Internet is running as a result…

  1. Looks like the season is over as spam levels are starting to rise again. Pity it couldn’t last.

  2. You are fortunate. I haven’t checked email for a few days and came back to it today to find a few dozen spam messages in gmail. Merry Christmas :)

  4. Spam? What’s Spam? Get a decent provider and you’ll not get bother with it! Just think how little spam comes through the Scottish Devlopers’ aliases due to the quality of the antispam solution!

Historically, this is actually the time of year when SPAM increases on the Internet. The spammers know that people have more time to catch up on email and are more responsive to their social engineering attacks!
